Rasa’s approach to her clients is innovative, holistic, empathetic and evidence-based. She loves helping people and this is what drew her to commence work as a personal carer at age sixteen. Rasa specialises in treatment optimisation for people with Depression, Anxiety and Bipolar Affective Disorder as well as assisting people to better their metabolic and physical health (weight management, nutrition, physical activity and wellbeing plans).

Rasa is an accredited Dialectical Behavioural Therapist with the Australian DBT Institute and delivers therapeutic interventions that are informed by Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Rasa now holds more than ten years of nursing experience and holds degrees in the: Bachelor of Nursing, Graduate Certificate in Palliative Care, Masters of Mental Health Nursing (with Distinction) and Master of Nurse Practitioner (with Distinction).

Presently Rasa is working as a Nurse Practitioner, Researcher with UNSW and a Credentialed Mental Health Nurse through the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses. She is a member of the Australian College of Nurse Practitioners and is both an Alternative Delegate and Member of the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation NSW. Rasa has completed and evaluated successful innovative programs for depression and anxiety treatment optimisation as well as pet therapy and medication safety. She is a volunteer boxing coach and has undergone training for Ashtanga Yoga in Mysore, India. Rasa looks forward to learning your story and walking alongside you, to support you however she can in your journey.
