Amanda has 15 years’ experience in clinical mental health settings including inpatient, community, primary care, residential facilities, immigration detention, and non-clinical settings such as reporting in federal government, teaching at university, and leading operations in a national telehealth platform. Amanda has a wealth of experience as a clinician, supervisor, clinical lead, academic and in management, operations and governance. Amanda is endorsed by AHPRA as a Nurse Practitioner and on the Board of Directors as Vice President of the Australian College of Nurse Practitioners.
Amanda treats a variety of mental health presentations including mood disorders, psychotic disorders, anxiety disorders and personality disorders. Amanda’s special interests include Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and Attention-Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) in adults.
Amanda is a certified ADHD Clinical Services Provider, with experience in diagnosing ADHD in adults, utilising cognitive screening tools digitally, live assessments, clinical interview and preparing a comprehensive report for your health care team.
Amanda can prescribe antidepressants, anxiolytics, antipsychotics and non-stimulants as well as facilitate structured psychological therapies and psychosocial interventions.,
